Fireball Run goes Italian!!

As of Thursday, December 18th, Fireball Run is officially going Italian!! Concorso Italiano that is!

Each year, the Monterrey Peninsula in California opens its doors to over 40,000 automotive enthusiasts as the worlds largest celebration of Italian auto, culture, cuisine, music, fashion, and travel tourism rolls into town for the annual Concorso Italiano. A playground for the world’s elite, media and fans will be converging on a breathtaking display of over 1,200 Italian collector autos, motorcycles, and boats.

This year, Fireball Run and Concorso Italiano have joined forces. Both parties see value in each others’ franchise and have decided to cross promote together as a team. At Concorso, the Fireball Run will have a designated tent space where rally vehicles will be on display. Mr. Marc Klaas from Klaas Kids Foundation, the Fireball Run Official Charity Partner, will be on site hosting a print-a-thon for children in attendance to be fingerprinted and photographed for child safety. Members from our 2010 Official Host Cities will be in attendance to meet future Fireballers and share the excitement their city brings to the 2010 event. For more information or to purchase tickets to Concorso Italiano, please visit www.concorso.com.

Fireball Run partners with Klaas Kids

The gut wrenching story of the kidnapping and eventual murder of 12 year old Polly Hannah Klaas swept the nation in the early 90′s. It was a time when American’s bonded together in search of a lost little girl, wept when her lifeless body was found, and rejoiced when her killer was convicted and sentenced to death. Since that time, her father, Marc Klaas, has made it his life’s mission to educate parents and children across our nation. In memory of his little girl, the Klaas Kids Foundation for Children is a crusader in fighting for legislation such as Megan’s law and the Amber plan. They have implemented child, community, and cyber safety programs and have held countless print-a-thons to fingerprint, photograph, and collect DNA samples from thousands of children.

With a daily goal of making the world a better, safer place for children, Marc Klaas and the Klaas Kids Foundation is an incredible non-profit that deserves our help. Fireball Run is humbled and honored to partner with such an amazing cause and can proudly announce that as of Thursday, March 18th, Klaas Kids Foundation for Children is now the Official Charity and Media Partner of the Fireball Run Adventurally.

Marc and his brother will be joining the competitors at the starting line in Henderson, NV and their team, Team Polly, will journey with us until we reach the finish line in Wisconsin.

If you are interested in becoming a competitor and would like a portion of your entry fee to be donated to the Klaas Kids Foundation, simply go to www.klaaskids.org and click on the Fireball Run banner through their site. Once you register for the event, a donation of $500 will automatically be donated to Marc and his foundation.
