Our only renegade event... no rules, no limits, no records. The Global Financial Crisis is was worst financial situation since the Great Depression. When the stock market collapsed FIREBALL RUN chose to hunker down, regroup, and ride it out. Only a handful of teams could make it, 2009 was to celebrate the Mother Road, so the few select teams chose simply to "race" Route 66. No game, photos, videos, or media was organized... this was a pure fun run and our only true Cannonball Run style race... from Santa Monica Pier to the heart of Chicago.
